I got teary-eyed when I walked into the room: Kristina at the front with the mic and 17 students ready to dance for the hour.
Today marked a big day: my sweet friend, Kristina, taught our Campus Crusade Jazzercise class for the first time. And she was amazing. Way better than my first class.
Teaching is no small feat. That’s 15-some routines. In a row. By herself. Dancing. Talking. Cuing. It’s like the ultimate in multi-tasking.
And I got to be a regular student in class. It was fabulously weird.
It’s been an adventure to see how God birthed this dream for a healthy outlet for our missionary women here at work…and then how He’s brought it to pass…and then moved in Kristina’s heart to get certified and join me in teaching.
And, oh, did I mention that I used to make blatant fun of Jazzercise in college? Um, yeah. God has a sense of humor.
I feel like a life truth God is teaching me is that I’m not creative enough to dream up what He wants to do with my life.
So I’m buckling in for the ride.
