eraser football

I woke up to a rainy morning. The first thing I thought of? Silent football. Back in my Ruth Pyrtle elementary school days (go mustard-colored panthers!) on days like this we’d play silent football. Meaning, we’d sit on our desks and throw Peyton Manning passes of chalk-covered erasers to each other; consolation for not running around outside.

Anyone out there an 80s kid under wraps who threw an eraser back in the day, too?

We didn’t do the eraser thing much. We made paper footballs (a triangle) and played table football all the time though.
