orlando on the map – not for good

Orlando has always been hot, but looks like tempers are flaring. Here’s for a happier Friday for my fellow Floridians.

poor pluto

Just got the breaking CNN news blurb.

Usually those entail information about the Ramsey case, fighting in Israel or the escaped convict.

But today it was to announce that Pluto is no longer a planet. My first thought was, Can they really do that?

What about all those models 4th graders have made of the solar system? The textbooks?

Can you imagine the man or woman who got to make that call, officially? They went home that night and their spouse said, “How was your day?”

“Well, not good. I had to put Pluto down.”

I can see!

I figured if I had to get reading glasses, (I must be a Cornhusker because my eyes are football shaped with a stigmatism) they’d be FUN and RED!
